New Article – Walter Greenwood Among the Artists: Polperro (1936- 1965)

Greenwood lived, if not quite continuously, in the Cornish fishing village and artists’ colony of Polperro between 1936 and 1965, when he retired to the Isle of Man. This is an account of how he came to move there from the city of Salford, of how he thought about Cornwall and Polperro, and how he reflected these places in his writing.
