There is only one portrait painting of Walter, by the artist Margaret Rosemary Anyon Cook. It was given to Salford Art Gallery and Museum by the artist, though it is not currently on display. It is however featured on the ArtUK web-site. I very much like the portrait and think it captures Greenwood’s appearance and some aspects of his personality. – Best Chris.
