I recently bought a piece of Greenwood theatrical ephemera which I have never seen before in the sixteen years I have been looking out for such things. It is a large double-sided blue flyer for a production of his play at the Grand Theatre, Doncaster in November 1936, and is indeed quite a grand flyer, telling us a lot about what audiences were expected to find interesting about the play. Was the flyer only printed for Doncaster or is it just the only one to survive? Someone anyway in the environs of Doncaster folded it up and kept it safely in their drawer for some period of ninety years.

Enjoy! Chris.
