Louis Ollier seems to have made a practice of (and a living by?) sketching celebrities in the thirties and then getting them signed by the subject, perhaps following up by selling them the original drawing or offering them printed copies. However, there seems to be very little known about Ollier. Nevertheless, at some point he made a sketch of Walter, which the author then signed.
