Walter Greenwood and Arthur Wragg’s The Cleft Stick – an Introduction

I have now added this new article. It introduces this important but never reprinted book and gives a synopsis of each if its  fifteen stories. I’m working on getting the collection republished, but in the meantime this will give you a sense of the kinds of story it contains and of some similarities and differences from Love on the Dole.
