17 August 2018. There are now images and discussions of the dust-wrappers / cover designs of all Greenwood’s published fiction and non-fiction works on the dust-wrapper page. The only gap is for Only Mugs Work form 1938 (though there is an image of its frontispiece image), since I have never seen a copy with its dust-wrapper. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has any information about its cover-design.
28 July 2018. With the addition of Only Mugs Work (1938), The Treeloe Trilogy (1952-56) and Saturday Night at The Crown (1958), I have now discussed the dust-wrappers / cover designs for all of Greenwood’s novels (well, as best I can – I have not so far located a copy of Only Mugs Work complete with its dust-wrapper). I next need to add discussion of his three non-fiction books.
1 July 2018. I have now completed work on the dust-wrappers and cover designs of Standing Room Only (1936), The Secret Kingdom (1938) and Something in My Heart (1944).
30 April 2018. The section on the cover designs of his second novel, His Worship the Mayor (1934) is now complete for the present (I hope to add a little more on the Czech edition and translation of this novel, when I have more information).
26 April 2018. I have now completed the page which discusses all the dust-wrappers and cover designs of Love on the Dole since 1933 (but do let me know of any others I’ve missed).
